This grape variety was developed in the 1880’s when Swiss botanist Hermann Muller from the Thurgau province crossed Riesling and Madeleine Royale.

By restricting yields we have been able to produce an aromatic and minerally wine revealing quince and embracing a vibrant crisp dry finish.
